It has a been a good last few days for the Godspell gang. We had some really great shows with awesome audiences and some pretty good time together as well, just hanging out. I think my favorite part of the tour experience so far is the travel. It has been a long time since I have been out east, and it is absolutely gorgeous out here. Seeing the grandeur of the mountains of PA and VA was breathtaking. Even with no AC, the drive was great because of the view.
One of my favorite moments so far occurred a few days ago. After the show in Mt. Jackson, I went out to turn off the generator so we could begin load-out. As I went out the door, I saw the sun setting behind the mountains. It was absolutely gorgeous.
Yesterday, we spent a fun-filled day in the Capitol. I spent some time at the zoo, saw the White House for the first time (it looks bigger in the pictures), and had Thai food for the first time ever. It was so so so good! It was a great time! I'm looking forward to the show tomorrow and the challenges it is sure to bring.
